7 Day Tactical Surveillance Course in Zurich
Together with our Associates, Edelweiss Tactical, we are holding a 7 day tactical surveillance training course in Zurich, Switzlerland. Edelweiss Tactical are one of the leading tactical firearms schools in Europe run by professionals for professionals.
Who the course is aimed at
This demanding course is aimed at surveillance operators, close protection officers, PSD teams and consultants who may be required to carry out surveillance in hostile areas where there is a requirement to carry firearms.
What the students can expect
The first two days of this course is spent carrying out live firearms training to a high standard to Qualify for the National Rifle Association (NRA) Basic Pistol Certificate. Followed by five days tactical surveillance training which includes the Edexcel BTEC or the NCFE Level 3 Award in Foot & Mobile Surveillance.
Course Content
2 Day Tactical Firearms Phase
This phase covers the basic skills to teach safe handling drills then quickly moves onto the tactical phase of shooting which includes:
- Intro to Weapons
- Medical Procedures
- Stances, Grip, Positioning
- Tactical & Combat Reloads
- Marksmanship Principles
- Stoppages, Speed & Combat Loads
- Point & Instinctive Shooting
- Close Quarter Shooting
- Weapons Used: Glock 17 & 19, H&K MP5, M4, AKM-74, Remmington 870
5 Day Tactical Surveillance Phase
This phase teaches the student to conduct surveillance and intelligence gathering whilst operating in high threat areas. Based on our Level 3 Award, this phase also includes military style tactics and procedures which includes break contact drills.

Course Costs
This 7 day course costs £1,600.00 (VAT included), hotel, transfers, insurance and instruction.
