2 Day Professional Witness Training
Who the course is aimed at
This two day course is designed for those Investigators or Enforcement Officers who undertake observations in respect to Professional Witness Programmes or for gathering evidence in relation to Anti-Social Behaviour.
This course is normally run for Local Authority Housing Officers and Anti-Social Behaviour Teams by special arrangement but we have now opened up a course to the general public.
The course covers practical exercises in relation to observations, video & still photography and the preservation and continuation of Evidence. In addition, the Human Rights Act and especially the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 is covered in relation to this type of investigation where appropriate authority is required.

What delegates can expect
Over the two days, skills are taught that are necessary for gathering evidence by covert means, mainly by static surveillance and the use of camera equipment. This is supported by the legal aspects of obtaining authority, the obtaining of, and the continuity of evidence in a manner that is acceptable to the Courts.
